Logile Announces Organizational Changes to Support Growth
Logile, Inc., a leader in Real-Time Workforce and Execution Management solutions, today announced exciting changes to its executive and engineering teams. Mike Carter has joined Logile’s executive team as Vice President of Business Development, bringing with him senior-level experience with retailers including HEB, Supervalu, A&P, Radio Shack, Minyard Foods and CVS Pharmacy. Engineering team promotions and expanded responsibilities were also announced. These changes support Logile’s rapidly expanding customer base and promote accelerated growth, while retaining Logile’s commitment to excellence and customer service.
“Mike Carter’s thirty years of retail experience as a Division President, VP of Store Operations, as well as other strategic leadership positions in grocery, drug and other specialty retailers, makes him ideally suited to promote the benefits of Logile’s software solutions and packaged professional services to retail executives,” said Purna Mishra, Logile’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Rick Schlenker, Logile’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, added, “Logile has achieved a record number of successful implementations over the last year, and is engaged with several leading retailers. Our recently announced next generation of software – UPC/Item level forecasting, wall-to-wall labor scheduling and Time & Attendance applications – is gaining acceptance as we are addressing the critical gaps in existing workforce and execution management solutions. Mike will help us extend our reach, allowing us to offer our solutions to more retailers. We are very excited to have him as part of our leadership and sales team.”
Mr. Carter explained, “I’m very happy to join the Logile team at this strategic moment. My decision to join Logile was based on Logile’s thoughtful approach to growing their business. The Logile team has been developing and delivering comprehensive offerings to retailers. These include professional services aimed at developing engineered standards and best practices for improving in-store efficiency and customer service. Now is the time to seize and push forward the momentum Logile has already achieved, and I am thrilled to be part of that.”
Logile also announced the promotions of three team members to director level, and their new leadership responsibilities. Sushil Pulikkal, Sunil Subrahmanyam and Dr. Ximing Zhang have assumed the roles of Director of Engineering, Director of Technology and Director of Optimization, respectively. Mr. Mishra explained, “These proven senior technical leaders will guide Logile’s growing team of software developers located in Texas, China and India. They continue Logile’s functional and technical industry leadership and strengthen an already strong foundation for Logile’s solutions, sales and marketing efforts well into the future.”
